This project was motivated by shrinking student satisfaction. We thought that the general concept (well-developed by myself) does not work well any more and should be changed. But the latest course evaluation changed that picture very much. The students were very happy with the course, in particular with the overall concept. What made the difference were smaller, but effective, improvements all over the place. Therefore, the original motivation for the project disappeared. If however the department can work on improving the course further (and there are ideas along this line), the IT programme does not want "the money back". However, this is becoming a more modest 'course development' project, under the leadership of the new teacher (Atze van der Ploeg). Probably, the 30 kkr will not be used up.
(On the side, there is also a planed quality money project for this course. The future of that project, proposed by the old teacher, is unclear in the light of the course being passed on.)
