Lab safety documents

Before starting your work in the labs of our division, make sure you have read and signed the lab safety documents relevant for the labs and instruments you will use. You can find most of these documents on the wikipage under Lab safety.

Clean room introduction

Take the clean room introduction course if you are to work there– register at:
http://www.chalmers.se/en/departments/mc2/laboratories/NFL/Pages/Education%20and%20training/Cleanroom-Introduction-Course.aspx

Gas safety introduction

In our labs, where people might work with toxic or flammable gases, we have a system of gas sensors to detect possible leaks. To be allowed to work in these labs you need to get introduced to general rules about how to safely handle gasses and how the alarm system works. To get this introduction, arrange a meeting with Milan Friesel. Contact him directly at: friesel (at) chalmers.se

Chalmers Materials Characterization Laboratory (CMAL)

Familiarize yourself with the materials characterization possibilities available at the Chalmers Materials Characterization Laboratory (CMAL) and learn about how to get access to the instruments. Discuss with yoru supervisor.
